The formulation of InLei® Lady Shield is based on three main active ingredients:

• FOMBLIN®

It is a scientifically advanced raw material born from the studies of an Italian chemical company of excellence, a world leader in the creation of materials, chemical products and innovative solutions.

It is a polymer capable of creating a clear, odorless and non-greasy film which acts as a barrier, but at the same time remains absolutely breathable and does not occlude skin pores. Its particular film-forming and water-repellent structure prevents dehydration, irritation and redness of the skin.

Several clinical studies have been performed on male and female volunteers with severe chronic dermatitis and skin irritation resulting from exposure to metal powders, paints, detergents and industrial oils. The results have shown that this substance guarantees very high performance and extraordinary results in solving these problems.

• ZANTHALENE®

It is a natural active ingredient obtained from the dried fruits of Zanthoxylum Bungeanum, the “Sichuan pepper” plant. It is widespread in Asia and has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinesemedicine for its anti-inflammatory, soothing and anti-itching properties.

In Eastern tradition, these peppercorn-like fruits are also used as a spice in cooking. They have a slight lemony aroma and leave a tingling/numbing sensation in the mouth, as if they mildly anesthetize the skin in a completely natural way. This is because they are able to act on neuromuscular communication within the skin structure, alleviating irritation and reducing skin sensitivity.

• PHYTOSPHINGOSINE

This component is already naturally present in our stratum corneum and is responsible for improving the structure of the skin’s protective hydrolipid film, aiding the reconstruction of keratinocytes, and working as an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent.

Phytosphingosines act as building blocks to restore the natural skin barrier, they are activated especially in conditions of damaged/sensitized skin and prevent the penetration of aggressive ingredients into the epidermis. In addition to creating this hydrolipid film (clean and unoxidized) they protect against chemical attacks, in our case they prevent the skin from being irritated during the application of Brow Lift 1.

#INLEITIPS Because of this ingredient, InLei® Lady Shield cream can also be used as a calming and soothing product at the end of treatment. 

SAFE AND TESTED

• DERMATOLOGICAL TEST

Since this is a product created with the intention of protecting delicate skin, we subjected it to a clinical patch test performed specifically on sensitive skin. A team of expert dermatologists evaluated the skin of 20 volunteers 24 and 48 hours after applying the product, examining any reactions that might occur.

On a rating scale ranging from “strongly irritating” to absolutely “not irritating,” InLei® Lady Shield was classified as NOT IRRITATING. In fact, as we have seen from the analysis of its ingredients, it not only protects the skin but also soothes it, even reducing redness and/or pimples that were already present before the treatment.

• CHALLENGE TEST

As usual, we also submitted the product to the microbiological control test, to verify the safety of the formulation and check for bacterial growth within it. The test had excellent results!
