THE BIG MOMENT IS NEARING. We’ve made significant strides, and now, step by step, we’re thrilled to take you through the innovations arriving in 2024.
The decision to revamp our iconic InLei® Lash Filler line took root between 2019 and 2020. Keeping an eye on trends while focusing on production, we aimed to enhance our formulations to meet the increasing demand for “greener” and non-animal derived products.
The cosmetics landscape is ever-evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities with each innovation. Transitioning to sustainable ingredients like plant-based keratins marks a significant leap forward. Yet, it necessitates extensive testing to ensure the quality and efficacy remain uncompromised. Only through time, research, and practical application can we determine if these new ingredients surpass traditional formulations. But with unwavering commitment, the future appears promising.
But that’s not all. We recognized a growing need within the lashmaker industry for expediency, pristine outcomes, and reduced allergic reactions—a monumental undertaking. So, we convened with our esteemed chemists and cosmetologists to embark on a journey toward a new product line fulfilling these desires.
Who would have thought this journey would take three times longer than the original line?
Concurrently with developing a vegan formula, we optimized formulations and the washing method for a greener, faster, and cleaner treatment. The objective was crystal clear: streamline the process without compromising the quality, ensuring both lash curl and thickening were impeccable.
After testing various formulations and numerous adjustments, we were ready. But not ready for product launch. Another round of efficacy tests in a clinical laboratory was essential. This step was crucial to validate the product’s effectiveness in thickening eyelashes. From October to December 2022, tests were conducted at a renowned laboratory in Milan.
The challenges this time were manifold:

The Results
After three months of testing, we anxiously awaited nearly two months for the lab specialists to process all data and compile the official report. The wait was excruciating, exacerbated by the intervening Christmas holidays.
January 21st, 2023, marked a momentous occasion: we received the official documents, announcing to our entire staff and brand representatives that with the new formulations and working protocol, we achieved astounding results affirming our diligent efforts!
Specifically:
*By following the official protocol of the InLei® Lash Filler 25.9 lamination treatment, it is guaranteed to obtain: an average thickening of 25% and an elongation of 9% after a cumulative cycle of 3 treatments.
When combined with the InLei® Adiutrix serum for three months, we also achieved:

These results are impressive, but our journey has only just begun.
We revolutionized the treatment by 60%, introducing a Lash Filler with plant-based ingredients. We revamped the protocol by incorporating a washing step and introducing a fourth product that rebuilds lashes at the molecular level, concluding the treatment process.
We made no alterations to the first two solutions, InLei® Lash Form 1 and InLei® Lash Fix 2, as they were stable and vegan from inception, meeting industry demands impeccably.
Why, despite these achievements, are the products not yet available for sale? The answer lies in distinguishing between declaring them ‘vegan’ and obtaining official certification. We meticulously sought a certifying body—a process involving rigorous checks and extensive paperwork.
We proudly selected VEGANOK, an organization with over 20 years of history and an international reputation. Their ethical certification and educational mission strive for positive change benefiting people, animals, and the planet.
Additionally, many packaging materials in our range were selected with sustainability in mind, proudly displaying internationally recognized FSC certification, guaranteeing proper forest management and product traceability.
We continued to enhance packaging emotionally. InLei® isn’t just a brand; it’s an experience that engages users on multiple levels. It embodies values, history, and reputation, establishing a profound connection with consumers. No matter how exceptional the formulation, without appealing packaging, it’s unlikely to be chosen. Thus, we’ve garnered renown for our velvety packaging, delicate fragrances, and vibrant yet gentle colors, mirroring the dedication poured into product creation.
And that’s not all. We’re already envisioning a new kit, promising even greater completeness and excitement than before. Quality and innovation are at the core of InLei®.
But most importantly…
The launch is slated for March 2024, pending a few final steps: sourcing high-quality raw materials, fine-tuning industrial processes, resolving bureaucratic issues related to cosmetic product registration across thirty countries, and organizing a special event to celebrate.
